Remote Control
Accessible from
Utilities->"STB Control Panel". This window duplicates most of the major
functions of your STB's remote control. Once properly configured you can
control the STB from your PC. There is no external "IR
blaster" required*. All interfacing is done inside the STB and
controlled via the USB connection.

The
"Remote Address" pull-down becomes active only
when appropriate. In the case of DTC100 and similar receivers,
which do not support multiple remote addresses, it will be
grayed-out. It will also be inactive for DISH6000 receivers,
because a universal address is used. In the event that your
DISH6000 STB does not respond to the universal address, go to
the Preferences dialog and change your STB model to
"BELL6000".
The green power "LED" reflects the current power state
of the STB. It reads the status directly from the receiver and
will change states if the front panel power button is cycled.
The appearance of the remote dialog may differ depending on
which receiver type has been selected.
*C-Band users require an external
IR diode (supplied) which connects to a jack added to the back
panel of the HDD200 decoder unit. It should be pointed in the
vicinity of the IR sensor on the receiver.
