Scheduler (Timer)
The R5000-HD incorporates a single event
timer utility for unattended recording. Accessible from the
"Utilities" menu: "Scheduled Record". It is basic
and straight-forward to use, with the familiar Windows Calendar and Time
Pickers.
Pick a "Start Time" that is in the future (the "Record
Event" checkbox does not become active until this condition is
met). If the "Stop Time" is less than the start time, it is
automatically rolled ahead 24 hrs and the day of the week incremented.
For example, if the start time below were set to 11:00 PM, the day of
the week below "Stop Time" would flip to "Tuesday"
and the duration would read "23 hrs 31 mins".
Use the Calendar
to pick any day in the future for the recording to take place. The timer
does not become active until the "Record Event" box is
checked even if the dialog is dismissed with the "OK" button.
The R5000-HD main dialog will then display in the settings area next to
the "Timer" button when the recording is set to fire.
