Is
there any porn available in HD?
Yes, DirecTV broadcasts PPV porn in High-Definition after
hours on their HD PPV channels (85 & 99). These blocks are
currently offered from Midnight to 6 AM, Thursday through
Sunday.
Can I record it?
Yes, the R5000-HD can record any HD channel on the DirecTV
system (and EchoStar, Bell and C-Band), including PPV channels.
What about EchoStar/Dish?
As far as we know, at this time (May 2005) Dish is not
transmitting any porn in the HD format. However, the R5000-HD
can record all SD (standard definition) porn channels including
PPV.
What about Bell/ExpressVu?
We believe they do but are not sure of the channel, and whether
or not it is in French or English.
