Support for Windows Media Center is currently not offered. This is mainly because of the considerable difficulties supporting H.264 encoded material in the live TV mode. There are also problems creating wtv format files with MPEG-4 video as well. Although Windows 7 ships with updates that make it more compatible with H.264 video, too much of the functionality of Windows Media Center is still compromised. For example, even though it can now playback standard transport or program stream files with H.264 encoded video, not having the ability to record to wtv format means that program (meta) information is lost. As the underlying technology changes we will continue to re-evaluate the possibility of supporting MCE.
