| Options allow the user to set transport
stream file preferences such as bit rate and
naming conventions. All recordings made by the R5000-HD are
automatically logged (view and purge via menu commands). A STB control panel
duplicates the functionality of the remote control for convenient
control of the STB via your PC. Up to 4 devices (STB tuners) can be connected to the PC and controlled by the R5000-HD application. The preferences for each are stored independently. Version 2.0 adds the ability to record directly to D-VHS tape along with a built-in Media Player that plays most major media types and can preview the satellite program in real time. (DirectX 9.0 required. D-VHS requires IEEE1394 (Firewire) port). |
